I live in Bristol, which is one of the most beautiful cities in the UK. With a population of around 400,000, Bristol is the UK’s eighth most populous city. It is home to the Italian-born explorer John Cabot, who sailed from Bristol to Newfoundland on the Matthew in 1497. Bristol is also the birth-place of Concorde which is the World’s first supersonic airliner, and of Cary Grant who is the Second Greatest Male Star of All Time. Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run, Creature Comforts and Robbie the Reindeer were all made by the Oscar award-winning Aardman Animations here in Bristol.
